GAME MUSIC REEL

In this reel, I’ve selected some of the most impactful tracks from the games I’ve worked on.

 

For STORMRITE, I’ve included the main theme, which captures the essence of the game. However, the in-game music is much more intricate, featuring a dynamic, multi-layered score that adapts seamlessly to gameplay. Each location on the map has its own unique multi-layered music, which also changes based on the time of day. The core explorative layer sets the atmosphere, while additional layers intensify as the player encounters danger, enters mystical zones, or engages in battles. During combat, up to four layers blend to reflect the intensity of the action, with extra stems for elements like monsters, magic spells, and character energy. This creates a fully immersive and reactive musical experience that evolves with the game world.

 

In GRAY, we used a looping technique instead of multi-layering. While most tracks are carefully designed loops, some can blend together based on gameplay situations. For example, there are specific music loops for fire and danger, and when these elements overlap, the music dynamically combines to reflect the intensity of the moment. This approach maintains a cohesive musical flow while still adapting to the game’s evolving scenarios.
